Hey Folks, So recently i saw an amazing instructable on 3d projection pyramid  and it seemed so cool, so me and my friend tried it out (its mostly my friend). It turned out to be so amazing that i decided to write about this on my blog. So here i am. And if you are a parent or kid looking for an amazing weekend project or something to show on science fair, you have come to the right place :D When i say its amazing, its totally an understatement, you will be a taken back by the simplicity of the project. Its really easy and it only involves some plastic and a smartphone or tablet with decent resolution display. Both are easy finds these days. Basically you will see an illusion of 3d projection display without the need of any sophisticated hardware or 3d glasses. Its really cool when you actually see it live. So you can find lot of tutorials on the web on how to drive the display but lets just move a step farther, lets do some animation with it. OLED 0.96" 128X64  from aliexpress what i have is an OLED 0.96" 128X64 I2C (or IIC) interface, with SSD1306 driver, 3.3/5V compatible. There are 4 pin on the OLED module, GND, VCC, SCL and SDA. Hi Folks, If you have read my other posts about my 3d printing saga , you might have guessed that i already built a 3d printer. Sorry to leap forward with this post before completing my build log of the printer but i think this is the right time to post this. Especially now we have the Terminator genisys on theaters. So that the terminator movies rebooted itself with the new movie genisys in theaters now, i wanted to do something for the amazing T-800 :). I am an avid fan of terminator series, i love the animatronics and graphics used by them. Then i found a cool 3d model in thingiverse with holes for led in t-800 here . This is an awesome model as it has slots for 5 mm LED's in the eyes and has passage inside head for wires. Awesome. Hi Security enthusiast, So if you were following closely on recent developments regarding SSL/TLS security, you might have heard that Qualys SSL labs released an API to automate the testing of internet hosted applications with their awesome hosted testing solution. Hi folks, So if you have a raspberry pi and a camera module one of the cool things that you can do is to make a rig that does time-lapse videos. So i just did that, believe me its awesome. Now you all know from my previous posts that i do have a 3d printer, so i printed a neat little case for my raspberry pi and a sweet little camera mount. And i bought a custom camera module for raspberry pi from uctronics.com , they have a detachable lens and its kinda good quality and cheap too. Hi Readers, So it begins here like i have told in the preface page  i finally decided to buy a kit. Having decided that i began searching to find an Indian seller who sells the kit, Indian because i was afraid of any customs tax if i order it from ebay.com or aliexpress.com. After lot of searching i finally found a seller who sells the kit for INR 25k but was it a mistake? You tell me :) Update 25th July 2015 After writing this blog many people pinged me in Facebook and asked me to reveal the name of the seller. So far i thought, what is done is done, why should i go behind them? But then i saw a post on one of the 3D printing group in Facebook where someone is trashing the seller for posting an advertisement. Hey guys, So here is a glimpse of my training trip to Abu Dhabi for SANS 2014. The course i attended was SEC-575 Mobile device security and ethical hacking. I really had a great time and the session was very informative. Since its not fare to shoot a video of the entire session and upload it on YouTube here in the below video is just glimpse to give you a feel of the class. Enjoy ... here it is Abu Dhabi was really beautiful and i really enjoyed the entire week though i was alone :P SEC575 course is awesome and i really learned quite a few tricks from the session.
